Customer info

Our customer was the marketing agency 52 Launch. The company’s mission is to invest and promote young business in the United States. They help startups not only implement their cool ideas, but also position them, make a roadmap, search for investments, bring on the market.

The slogan speaks for itself: "From napkin to reality."
By the way, we also developed the website for the agency:

The idea is based on the analog device called Rolodex. It is a rotating "notebook" in a rigid frame with an alphabetical index. Rolodex was mainly purchased by business people, business owners, top managers. They used it to store useful business contacts: suppliers of goods and services, potential clients, specialists, etc.
If you compare it with social networks, it is similar to LindkedIn. The main difference is that Dexy application is only for business people, not for job seekers and employers.

How it works

The main purpose of the application is to make and store a database of useful business contacts. With the application, one can create his/her own business card and collect data of the persons of interest. One can quickly add contacts of people at the meeting by reading QR codes. This is a kind of ritual for virtual business card exchange . You can also use the application to communicate with the added contacts. And perhaps the most interesting feature is that one can see the contacts currently near you. In the application one can publish news/ posts and watch the contacts’ posts, make groups of interests by grouping profiles by types of business one is interested in. And of course, one can create an attractive profile of one’s business.

Dexy application is developed for both the platforms: iOS - Swift, Android - Kotlin.

Design: Figma and After Effects.

We analyzed the tasks and made the process of adding new contacts convenient and fast. One more task solved by Citronium team was to create a business card layout for the users to easily make their own business cards.

The designers chose contrast colors for the camera to read QR codes better. The general color scheme in the app is muted, and it was necessary to adjust this feature into the interface palette chosen by the client. All necessary custom icons and illustrations were drawn for the project.
