An application for managing the chain of education centres and staff with an educational game for children which gathers statistics about students’ progress
A customer (Center of intellectual development Seven Kids) needed a platform for teaching children mental arithmetics and managing learning centres and staff. The pivotal part was a game app with bright interface, catching gameplay for children from 3 years old. Neutral but charismatic characters who could involve a young student were also important.

Learning Management System
Learning management system and educational mobile game
Seven Kids consists of an app for an administrator and a mobile app for kids. Partners and staff are managed in the administration panel. One of the tasks of the projects is practice of mental arithmetics skills in game form. Cross-platform app for iOS and Android helps to make hometask entertaining. Players statistics (time spent in the game, game currency etc.) is available for teachers in the dashboard.
Friendly characters make the visual part of the game more interesting for older children. There are four seasons of the year in the mental arithmetics island.
The team had to fully absorb in the project to understand the app logic and to implement the tasks.
“The most challenging task was the algorithm of synchronization between the app logic and complicated system of teaching mental arithmetics. Teaching a human to use mental arithmetics differs from making an algorithm which teaches a human.”
In the project there are several difficulty levels and in each level there are particular terms of composition and subtraction. Developers had to set a lot of conditions to make the app working in a right way.
Adding a realistic voice also wasn’t too simple. Russian is very complicated and just digitalization wasn’t enough because of different stress in derivative words. Initially we used just common voice processor of the operational systems, but it sounded robot-like. We taught the app speaking in a correct way with the help of a professional anchorman.
In the second release we added 6 more games focused on developing attention and memory (Do the sums, Memorise and put in the correct order, Read the text, Find zo-zo, Make up a word, Find an object). These games also add variety in the educational process.
